  1. Greetings.

  3. I'm back with more questions and comments in another "digest". For 
  4. those who don't know, I only have access to my mail on weekends (that 
  5. is, until summer).
  6.  
  7. Again, as in the previous digest, I don't have much to comment on 
  8. except for one or two things I've seen pop up lately, and I feel led 
  9. to throw my two cents worth in..
  10.  
  11. On the subject of LaRgE, HuGe, or EnOrMoUs files, Mr. Collin and Mr. 
  12. Hyland seem to have been the leaders of this latest hair-pulling 
  13. star-hot debate. I have something to say about their arguing:

  15. Mr. Collin:

  24. Well, I'm on Mr. Collin's side. There should be a limit. No, not to 
  25. small, such as 4k, which in my opinion is TOTALLY ridiculous (except 
  26. for those with slower connections, mind you, I'm not one of them.) I 
  27. have no problem with large files, >500k, as I have a fast connection 
  28. (like alot of people on this list) that is 28.8 or 14.4+.

  30. Now, Mr. Hyland:

  39. Well, the opinion of ONE person may not be able to do anything, but 
  40. the opinion of TWO or more may be able to change things. And, by the 
  41. way, there is ONE person who has more POWER than any of our OPINIONS, 
  42. and he's the Administrator of this list, Michael Cox.

  45. Like I said, Mr. Collin may not be, but Mr. Cox IS.

  47. One more thing, Mr. Hyland, if your going to continue to complain
  48. and continue to raise heck over the issue itself, why don't you just 
  49. UNSUBSCRIBE yourself from this list, because I know that I can do 
  50. without your bickering.

  54. Mr. Giark asked in regard to his query to anyone
  55. that wanted his 500k .lha file of Alien Breed data:

  63. That's about it. I just thought everyone would be happy to know (and 
  64. for those who haven't already checked my pages or have not been by to 
  65. check my pages lately), they're FINALLY FINISHED! YES! Well, 
  66. actually, at the time of this writing, I still have yet to do these:

  69. 2. Download area
  70. 3. Information page
  71. 4. News pages

  73. The Information and News pages will take the longest, but, 
  74. nonetheless, I finally have all of the graphics done, I did finally 
  75. decided on a new look (after about a month or two), and the pages 
  76. preivously listed should be finished over the weekend. If you stop 
  77. by, I'm setting up a guest book, so I would appreciate it if you 
  78. would either sign IT or mail me and tell me what you think.

  80. Btw, for those of you who use Amiga browser, tell me what you think 
  81. of the frames/noframes difference and how well all of the pages are 
  82. displayed on an Amiga and Amiga browser. I would like to know. Thanks
  83.  
  84. One more thing, for those who don't know, there are two Adam's on 
  85. this list (maybe more I don't know of), but the one to whom I'm 
  86. referring is Adam Wilkinson. Please don't get us mixed up.
